CAC Uniform Consignment Sale

Consignment Sale Basics

1. You determine the price at which your items will be offered for sale, then price and tag your items as described below.

2. There is a 25% consignment fee on any items sold, so you will receive 75% of your sale proceeds.

3. Checks will be mailed within one week after the sale.

Preparing Items for Sale

1. Contact Michelle McClanahan for a Family Number.

2. All clothing must be in good condition. Every item should be clean and stain free. All items that do not meet these requirements will be returned to you.

3. It is necessary to tag your clothing prior to the sale. This will eliminate any work that needs to be done during scheduled drop off times. Attach a 3x5 index card (described below) to each piece of clothing to the left side of each item with a safety pin. You MUST have a family number on each tag. Items not tagged with a family number will be donated.

4. Place all tagged shirts, blouses, jumpers or sweatshirts on hangers facing left.

5. For all other items, (pants, shorts, skorts, skirts, etc.), fold and safety pin the tag to the left side or pocket.

Items not picked up will be donated to The Centers for Youth and Families
